What is SpinRadio?
SpinRadio is an open audio exploration tool designed for music enthusiasts, expats, language students, and curious listeners worldwide. Built around an interactive 3D WebGL globe, SpinRadio allows you to spin the planet, discover transmitters by geographic coordinates, and tune in directly to live broadcast streams in your web browser, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple CarPlay.
Unlike algorithmic music recommendation engines that trap you in personal taste bubbles, live radio provides authentic human serendipity — community news, local tastemaker DJ sets, underground genres, and breaking events in real time as they unfold in their home cities.
Who Builds SpinRadio?
SpinRadio is designed, developed, and maintained by Guri through Agenor Services Pty Ltd, an independent software studio based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

How Stations are Added and Verified
Our station directory builds upon the crowd-sourced, CC0-licensed catalog of Radio-Browser.info, supplemented by curated cultural and public broadcasters.
To ensure high stream reliability, SpinRadio runs an automated stream health bot that probes Icecast, Shoutcast, and HLS mountpoints for valid audio headers, measuring latency and verifying HTTP 200 responses. Stations that go offline are automatically updated in our directory.
How SpinRadio Makes Money
SpinRadio is 100% ad-free. We do not run Google AdSense banners, video prerolls, or third-party ad networks. We never inject commercial audio ads into broadcast streams (though individual radio stations broadcast their own regular on-air sponsor spots).
The platform is supported privately by Agenor Services Pty Ltd and voluntary listener contributions via Buy Me a Coffee.
Contact & Feedback
We welcome station submission requests, bug reports, and listener feedback. You can reach out directly via our in-app feedback modal or email our engineering team at contact@spinradio.app.
